Healthcare Wall Art Program
Research shows that those undergoing care, including children, prefer scenes of nature to abstract art. Richardson Fine Art's healthcare wall art program includes a deep dive into client and staff environments to find the colors, materials, and images that will have the biggest positive impact.
Art in hospitals is generally viewed positively by both patients and staff. A qualitative evaluation of the Exeter Healthcare Arts Project found that the display of visual arts in that hospital was perceived by patients, staff and visitors to have a positive effect on morale. Forty-three percent of frontline clinical staff believed that the arts had a positive effect on healing and 24% considered that the arts improved clinical outcomes. -Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine
